My First Email from Imprisonment(감옥에서 보내는 나의 첫 번째 이메일)

 

I will send you my daily lessons from unjust imprisonment.

부당한 투옥에서 얻은 교훈을 너에게 보내.

 

They are trying to break me.

그들은 나를 망가트릴려고 하고 있어.

 

Thrown inside a cell without light.

빛도 없는 감방 안으로 던져졌어.

 

Cockroaches, lice, and bed bugs are my only friends at night.

바퀴벌레, 이, 빈대들은 밤에 나의 유일한 친구들이야.

 

When the guards bring me to and from the courtroom, I stay absolutely respectful.

간수들이 나를 법정으로 오고 데려갈때, 난 전적으로 존경심을 갖고 그들을 대해.

 

They try to pour hatred into my heart.

그들(매트릭스)은 내 마음에 증오를 쏟아부으려 해.

 

But Please and Thank You stick with me at all times.

하지만 부디 그리고 항상 내 곁에 있어줘서 고마워.

 

My prison guards are just performing their job, they have families to feed.

내 간수들은 단지 그들의 일을 수행하고 있을 뿐이야, 그들은 먹여 살릴 가족들이 있는거야.

 

In times of hardship, do not forget your manners.

어려운 시기일 수록 너의 매너를 잊으면 안돼.

 

They are trying to break my Iron Mind with unjust imprisonment.

그들은 부당한 투옥으로 나의 강철같은 마음을 망가트릴려 하고 있어.

 

My absolute respect for everyone around me is my act of absolute rebellion.

나를 둘러싼 모든 사람들에 대한 나의 전적인 존경은 (그들에 대한) 나의 절대적인 반항 행위이기도 해.

 

They cannot break me.

그들은 나를 망가트릴 수 없어.

 

My guards know I am innocent.

나의 간수들도 내가 무죄인걸 알아.

 

They know it is unjust.

그들도 이 모든게 옳지 않은 것을 알고 있어.

 

They see I will never break and respect my resolve.

그들은 내가 절대 망가지지 않을 것을 알고 있고 나의 굳은 결심을 존중해줄꺼야.
